Rule 1: Team Registration
a. Each team may register up to 18 players for the entire tournament. Once registered, no new players may be added to the squad.
b. ID cards are mandatory and must be presented before each match for player verification.
Rule 2: Match Format
a. Matches will follow the standard 11 vs. 11 format, including the offside rule.
b. Each match will consist of two 15-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime break.
Rule 3: Tournament Structure
The tournament will follow a league format initially, with knockout rounds for the teams that qualify. Matches in knockout stages that end in a draw will proceed to a penalty shootout.
Rule 4: Tiebreakers and Substitutions
a. In case of tied points within a pool, the tiebreakers are goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head results, and number of cards.
b. Each team is permitted a maximum of 3 substitutions per match, and once substituted, a player cannot re-enter the game.
Rule 5: Disciplinary Actions
a. Any player receiving a red card or two yellow cards in the same match will be dismissed from the game and suspended for the next match.
b. Yellow cards carry forward until the semi-final round. A player accumulating 3 yellow cards during the tournament will be suspended for the next match.
Rule 6: Reporting and Timeliness
a. Teams must report to the desk at least 30 minutes before the scheduled match time.
b. If a team fails to arrive on time, the opposing team will be awarded a walkover and declared the winner of the match.
Rule 7: Player Safety and Age Eligibility
a. Shin guards are mandatory for all players to ensure safety.
b. Only players born on or after 1st January 2001 are eligible to participate.
