Men's and Women's Rules
Rule 1: Registration and Eligibility
a. Each team may register up to 12 players, with ID cards required for identity verification.
b. Only players born on or after January 1st, 2001, are eligible to participate.
c. Teams are required to report to the designated desk at least 30 minutes before the match start time.
Rule 2: Match Format and Player Substitutions
a. Matches will be played according to the official kabaddi format.
b. Substitutions are permitted but must be announced before the start of each half.
c. Once substituted, a player cannot re-enter the same match.
Rule 3: Player Conduct and Code of Conduct
a. All players, coaches, and spectators must maintain respectful behavior toward referees and opponents.
b. Aggressive behavior, foul language, or harassment of any kind will result in disciplinary action.
c. Players are not allowed to wear any ornaments and must have closely clipped nails.
Rule 4: Equipment and Prohibited Items
a. The use of electronic gadgets, including analog watches, is strictly prohibited during matches.
b. Any player found using prohibited devices will cause their team to be disqualified from the tournament.
c. Players must adhere to all equipment regulations as outlined by the organizers.
Rule 5: Game Structure and Timing
a. Each match will be conducted in two halves, with a set duration for each half as per standard rules.
b. Timeouts and breaks will follow the official kabaddi regulations.
c. Teams failing to report on time will forfeit the match, with the opponent being awarded a walkover win.
Rule 6: Authority and Final Decision
a. Match officials have the highest authority, and their decisions are final and non-negotiable.
b. Any disputes must be raised immediately after the match, following official appeal procedures.
c. All appeals are to be addressed to the tournament organizers with supporting evidence if applicable.
