Men's and Women's Rules
Rule 1: Team Registration and ID Verification
a. Each team may register up to 12 players. Once registered, no new players may be added.
b. All players must submit their ID cards to the organizers before each match for verification. Players without ID cards will not be permitted to play.
c. Only players born on or after January 1st, 2001, are eligible to participate.
Rule 2: Match Format and Schedule
a. The tournament format will depend on the number of registered teams.
b. All matches will be best out of 3 sets. The first two sets will be played up to 25 points, and the deciding set (if needed) will be played up to 15 points.
c. Teams must report to the court 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. Teams arriving more than 15 minutes late will incur a 2-0 (25-0, 25-0) forfeit loss.
d. The tournament schedule will be provided after the registration window closes.
Rule 3: Rotation and Substitutions
a. The "Rotation" rule will be enforced in all matches unless both teams agree to play "fixed" positions.
b. Each team is allowed a maximum of 6 substitutions per set, in line with FIVB rules.
c. Teams are allowed two 30-second timeouts per set.
Rule 4: Player Conduct and Code of Conduct
a. All players, coaches, and spectators must maintain respectful behavior towards referees, officials, and opponents.
b. Harassment, aggressive behavior, or foul language will lead to disciplinary action.
c. Referee decisions during matches are final and binding.
Rule 5: Disciplinary Violations
a. Any violation of disciplinary rules by any team member will lead to the team's disqualification from the tournament.
Rule 6: Practice Balls and Equipment
a. Teams should bring their own balls for practice. Official match balls will be provided by the organizers.
b. Players must wear matching jerseys with printed numbers and no jewelry (e.g., wristwatch, necklace, rings, bracelet) during the game.
Rule 7: Arrival and Final Decision Authority
a. Teams must arrive 30 minutes before their match. Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes) will face a 2-0 forfeit.
b. The final decision authority rests with the referees and the organizing team. All match-related decisions are final.
